Former South Carolina State defensive standout Marshall McFadden brought NFL-level processing and physicality
Marshall McFadden is a former South Carolina State defensive back/linebacker whose value came from toughness, instincts, and special-teams reliability more than splashy ball production; available pro data show 36 defensive tackles and 1 special-teams tackle in CFL play, while ESPN and NFL profiles confirm his South Carolina State background and pro experience. He’s the kind of defender who fits a physical, assignment-sound system: durable, experienced, and willing to do the dirty work, with a career profile that suggests dependable contact skills and football IQ over headline-grabbing stats.
