Ivy League QB with a proven high-school arm and dual-threat upside
Drew Clippert is a Brown quarterback whose profile is built on production, poise, and athletic pedigree: at Aurora Christian he set Illinois passing marks with 3,540 yards in the 2017 season and 36 passing touchdowns, while also showing he can hurt defenses with his legs. His best differentiator is game experience as a true playmaker, not just a thrower—he’s a captain-type leader with strong multi-sport competitiveness and the kind of toughness Brown has historically needed at QB. The fit question is simple: if a team wants a smart, competitive passer with some scramble juice and leadership polish, Clippert checks a lot of boxes.
