TaShawn Thomas brings veteran-sized production and paint toughness to Oklahoma
In the 2014-15 season at Oklahoma, TaShawn Thomas averaged 11.6 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks per game while shooting 51.9% from the field, a nice snapshot of a forward who lives around the rim and impacts both ends[1][2]. His calling card is strength, shot-blocking, and high-effort interior scoring; scouting notes also praise his boxing-out and offensive rebounding, while his transfer background suggests a mature, ready-made piece rather than a flashy project[1][13][15]. If you want a sturdy, physical frontcourt option who can clean the glass and protect the paint, he’s absolutely worth a look[1][13].
