Michael Callahan brings speed, versatility, and sneaky-on-base value to Missouri State
In the 2026 season, true freshman Michael Callahan has been a valuable speed-and-defense piece for Missouri State, appearing in 21 games mostly as a pinch runner or defensive replacement while scoring 3 runs, stealing 1 base, and reaching base at a .429 clip in limited plate appearances. He was a high-school burner who stole 88 bases in three varsity seasons, so the headline skill is clear: game-changing quickness, plus the flexibility to handle both infield and outfield spots. If you want a high-energy depth piece who can change innings with legs and glove, he fits.
