Earl Ross Downs brings veteran-size, trench-first value to Central Arkansas
Earl Ross Downs is a long-time Central Arkansas offensive lineman whose profile points to size, experience, and steadiness in the trenches rather than flashy stats. In the 2013 Central Arkansas roster, he was listed at 6-foot-0, 264 pounds as a sophomore guard/OL, and earlier roster entries show him developing in the program from 2012 onward, which suggests a developmental, coachable blocker with some staying power. For a team, that usually means dependable depth, interior toughness, and less drama, more grit — the kind of lineman you appreciate most when the game gets ugly.
