Belmont’s Rim Protector with Real Center Gravity
Amanda Tomlinson profiles as a true interior presence for Belmont, the kind of center who changes shots, anchors the paint, and gives a team a defensive identity. In the 2008 season, Louella Tomlinson’s Saint Mary’s example shows the impact a dominant post can have—double-digit blocks, boards, and game-changing rim protection—and that’s the type of value Belmont can expect from a player in this mold. The key differentiator is impact without needing touches: she should matter most as a rebounder, defender, and high-effort screener. If you need a classic C who makes everyone around her tougher, she’s a fit.
