seasoned Grambling linebacker with size, experience, and steady program value
Jakai Thurmond brings the kind of linebacker profile coaches love: 6'0", 235-pound frame, veteran program familiarity, and a role on the Grambling State roster that suggests trust and toughness[1]. The strongest verified context available points to him as a returning defender with multiple seasons in the system, which usually matters as much as raw stats for fitting a scheme and handling communication-heavy LB duties[1]. He looks like a dependable, physical fit if a team wants a plug-in linebacker who understands structure and won’t be overwhelmed by the moment[1].
