Mikal Gjerde brings length, college experience, and a low-usage forward profile to San Diego
Mikal Gjerde, a 6'7" forward from San Diego, is a familiar-name, high-upside glue piece who was listed on the Toreros’ 2020-21 roster after joining as a Class of 2019 recruit rated 0.8800 by 247Sports. His value is less about box-score fireworks and more about size, positional versatility, and the kind of steady, team-first presence that can help balance a roster. If your team needs a physical wing/forward with college experience and a modest role rather than a primary scorer, he fits the bill.
