T.J. Harrell is a seasoned Michigan State depth piece with special-teams value
T.J. Harrell is a veteran Michigan State cornerback who has carved out value through experience, positional flexibility, and special teams work rather than eye-popping production. In his Spartans career, he has played in 24 games and recorded 8 tackles, with coaches noting he’s been shifted between defensive back and linebacker before settling at cornerback in spring practice. At 6-foot, 198 pounds, he brings size and toughness, and the big question is whether his utility and veteran know-how can translate into meaningful snaps in a crowded secondary.
