Former high-impact Redbird linebacker with proven tackle-for-loss juice
Tyree Horton’s Illinois State profile is built on disruption: in the 2017 season, he led the Redbirds with 75 total tackles, 10.5 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, seven quarterback hurries, and two forced fumbles, and he was named MVFC All-Newcomer. He also flashed big-play consistency with an 11-tackle, 2-sack, 3.5-TFL outing against Eastern Illinois and earned league weekly honors. The upside is clear if you want a downhill, aggressive linebacker who can wreck plays in the backfield; the caution flag is that his most documented production is from 2017, so current form would need fresh verification.
