Navy’s Matt Archibald is a swing-and-miss RHP with ace-level volume
In the 2026 season, Navy right-hander Matt Archibald emerged as a true staff driver, piling up 66 strikeouts in 47 innings while going 4-4 with a 3.64 ERA and holding hitters to a .133 average; he was also named Patriot League Pitcher of the Week and earned ABCA/Rawlings All-East Region First Team honors. The 6-foot-4 junior’s calling card is plus strikeout stuff and poise—he’s shown the ability to work deep into games, including an 8.0-inning shutout gem with nine Ks, which makes him a strong fit for teams that value a durable, attack-the-zone starter.
