Savannah State DB with a chance to make noise in the secondary
I couldn’t verify reliable, athlete-specific stat leaders or recent scouting reports for Jevonte Jefferson at Savannah State from the provided results, so the safest read is that he’s a player to watch rather than a fully documented breakout. As a defensive back, his value will hinge on coverage versatility, tackling reliability, and ball skills—traits that can quietly swing a game even when the box score stays modest. If you need a physical, assignment-sound DB who can help stabilize the back end and compete every snap, he’s worth a closer look.
