LeVar Talley’s length, burst, and special-teams juice keep him on Nevada’s radar
Talley entered Nevada as a three-star outside linebacker/edge prospect with real pop: at Santa Margarita Catholic, he posted 70 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, and 4.0 sacks as a senior, and Nevada coaches said he runs well and could help on special teams. In his 2024 freshman season, he redshirted and made two appearances without recording a stat, so the upside is still more projection than production. If you want a long, athletic developmental defender with upside and kick-team value, he’s intriguing; if you need an immediate plug-and-play playmaker, he’s not there yet.
