Colton Cross brings instant strikeout juice to McNeese’s bullpen
In the 2026 season, McNeese junior right-hander Colton Cross looks like a high-upside arm whose calling card is swing-and-miss stuff: in his first Cowboy outing, he threw three scoreless innings with seven strikeouts, a loud debut that hints at impact relief value. He’s a Tyler Junior College transfer with an athletic, downhill delivery and a consistently repeatable release point, traits that often translate well under pressure. The fit is appealing for teams wanting a power pitcher with starter-like intensity and relief flexibility.
