Nathaniel Bryant brings track-speed upside to NAU’s secondary
Bryant enters the 2026 season as a fresh-faced Northern Arizona cornerback with a compact 6-foot, 185-pound frame and legit athletic juice, which fits his background as a dual-sport track standout; his high-school résumé included a 10.57 in the 100 meters, a 21.96 in the 200, and a 23-2 long jump, hinting at easy speed and burst. The most interesting part: he’s a first-year college defender with real multi-positional experience at receiver and corner, plus a state-title pedigree, so he looks like a high-upside fit for teams that value development, coverage range, and special-teams pop.
