undersized, high-motor Aztec linebacker with proven splash-play chops
Jake Fely’s calling card is production in space and a nose for impact plays: in the 2012 season he earned second-team All-Mountain West honors and SDSU’s Defensive Player of the Year while posting 90 tackles, 11.5 tackles for loss, 7 sacks, and 2 forced fumbles. He’s the kind of linebacker who outplays the measuring tape, bringing relentless pursuit, downhill violence, and a reputation for showing up in big moments. If your defense values instinct, toughness, and disruptive playmaking over prototype size, Fely is a strong fit.
