Brittany Harmon was Gardner-Webb’s rim-protecting anchor
In the 2006-07 season, Brittany Harmon stood out as a defense-first center for Gardner-Webb, leading the team with 53 blocks and ranking second in rebounds while also adding 30 steals. She was a proven interior force who shattered her own school block record and earned Atlantic Sun Defensive Player of the Year honors, which tells you plenty about her motor and impact beyond the box score. If your team needs a hard-nosed paint defender, rebounder, and low-drama enforcer, Harmon is exactly the kind of old-school big who makes opponents hate the lane.
