From Record-Setting Playmaker to Rising NCAA D3 Head Coach
JC Cavin, once a standout guard for the Charleston Southern Buccaneers in 2017-18 (3.9 PPG, 0.8 APG, 58.6 FG%), built his legacy at Columbia International University as the program's all-time assists leader, third in steals, and fifth in scoring across three seasons starting 2014. Now in his second year as Head Men's Basketball Coach at NCAA D3 Piedmont University after assisting at UNG in 2024-25, Cavin's differentiator is his elite player development—mentoring All-CCS stars like Jolly (21.1 PPG, conference assists leader)—showcasing intense coaching smarts and leadership. A proven fit for programs seeking innovative, high-IQ tacticians.
