Reliable Kansas kicker with elite accuracy pedigree
Rui stands out as a steady, high-efficiency placekicker who showed in Kansas action that he can deliver under pressure, including a perfect day with two field goals and three extra points in a Big 12 Player of the Week performance. His calling card is consistency: he owns a 78.4% career field-goal mark and was the No. 1 career FG percentage kicker in Kansas history, which signals a dependable leg rather than a boom-or-bust profile. If your team wants a calm, experienced specialist who has already proven he can produce in big moments, Rui fits well.
