veteran Cal Poly defensive back with proven staying power
Matt McNab brings old-school durability and experience to Cal Poly’s secondary, having spent multiple seasons at DB for the Mustangs and listed at 5'7", 175–185 pounds across his career. Cal Poly’s roster history shows him as a long-tenured defender who stuck around and developed, which usually signals toughness, football IQ, and a role-player’s willingness to do the dirty work. The catch: public stat and scouting detail on his current-season impact is limited, so the best read is that he fits as a steady, scheme-ready defensive back rather than a flashy headline-grabber.
