Regan Schumacher has long been the kind of center coaches love to plug into a lineup: physical on the glass, efficient around the rim, and willing to do the dirty work. In the 2020-21 season, she was noted among the NCAA leaders in rebounds and double-doubles, including 11th nationally in double-doubles at one point, with a standout stretch that featured 16 points and 15 rebounds against Tarleton State and another game with 12 points and 17 rebounds.[13] Her value goes beyond the box score—she plays with steady intensity, gives ORU size, and was described as a veteran presence who can anchor frontcourt minutes.
