a one-snap Houston DB with hometown ties
In the 2004 season, Gerard Daniels appeared in one game for Houston and recorded 1 tackle, so the on-field sample is tiny[1][2]. The upside is local-rooted and straightforward: a Houston-born defensive back with size in the program, but there is no recent public stat trail, news, or evaluation suggesting a major current role or breakthrough yet[1][3]. If you’re looking for a high-floor, proven impact defender, the résumé is thin; if you value depth, developmental upside, and a player with homegrown familiarity, he’s at least on the radar[1][3].
