Isaiah Ifanse brings proven punch and veteran savvy to Cal’s backfield
In the 2023 season at California, Isaiah Ifanse logged 70 carries for 365 rushing yards and 7 touchdowns, giving Cal a compact, downhill runner with real short-yardage value and red-zone juice. He arrived as a decorated transfer after becoming Montana State’s all-time leading rusher with 3,742 yards and 25 rushing scores, so the upside is a proven workhorse who has already handled lead-back volume. He’s not flashy, but he’s physical, dependable, and has a nose for the end zone—useful traits if a team wants a steady, experienced RB who can finish drives.
