Will McCurdy is a developing Davidson playmaker with upside, but still limited game exposure
In the 2024 season, Will McCurdy was a freshman wide receiver at Davidson who did not see game action, so there is not yet a statistical resume to judge on-field production. What stands out is his all-around athletic profile: he was a high-school team captain, posted 2,500 career all-purpose yards and 17 touchdowns, and also lettered in track and baseball. For a team, that usually signals speed, coordination, and competitive habits more than raw output right now. The big question is projection—he looks like a high-upside developmental piece rather than an immediate impact player.
