A reliable UIW defensive back with early-career tackling chops
Mann is a defense-first DB for UIW whose appeal is his proven willingness to tackle and play with captain-like urgency: as a freshman in 2021, he appeared in 4 games and finished with 2 tackles, and his high school résumé included 7-plus tackles per game and unanimous first-team all-district recognition as a junior[2]. He fits best as a developmental, high-effort secondary piece rather than a headline stat producer, with the kind of competitive edge coaches tend to like in depth and special-teams roles[2].
