Donald Brown brings early-career tackling upside and special-teams value for Marshall
Donald Brown is a young **Marshall defensive back** whose profile is built on reliable tackling, willingness to play physical, and the kind of developmental upside coaches value in the secondary. In his 2009 freshman season, he appeared in seven games and made six tackles, and his high school résumé noted 100-plus tackles, pointing to a player who arrives with a defensive playmaker’s mindset rather than just raw athletic traits.[4] He looks like a fit for a team that wants depth, effort, and special-teams potential more than instant star power.[4]
