Keyari Sleezer brings veteran versatility and defensive activity to Pepperdine’s backcourt
Sleezer is a proven four-year Pepperdine guard who has appeared in 97 games, giving the Waves a dependable, experienced piece rather than a flash-in-the-pan scorer; her career output has been modest at 1.7 points and 1.4 rebounds in 8.6 minutes, but Pepperdine has specifically highlighted her as one of the team leaders in blocks, which points to active, disruptive defense from the guard spot. She fits best as a low-ego, role-clear guard who can defend, communicate, and provide stability—valuable if you want toughness and team-first reliability more than headline-grabbing offense.[3][2][6]
