Elijah Jenkins brings veteran edge-setting ability to Arkansas-Pine Bluff
Jenkins is a 6'1", 248-pound senior/graduate defensive end whose best selling point is proven production as a disruptive front-seven player: at Pearl River in 2021-22 he posted back-to-back productive seasons, including 8.5 tackles for loss and 2 sacks as a freshman and 5.5 tackles for loss with 4.5 sacks plus three pass breakups as a sophomore, and he has remained active at UAPB.[3] He fits a team that wants a sturdy, experienced DE who can set the edge, chase down plays, and bring a no-nonsense, high-effort presence rather than flashy pure pass-rush numbers.[1][3]
