Hannah Wasserman brings Yale size, two-way upside, and a fresh, high-motor look on the wing
Wasserman enters Yale as a 5-foot-11 guard and, in the 2025-26 season, is a first-year with a strong high-school résumé: team captain, all-section twice, and her school’s leader in scoring, rebounds, and blocked shots for two seasons; Yale also noted she was injured in 2023-24 and 2024-25, which makes her current value partly about upside and recovery as much as box-score output. She looks like a gritty, versatile piece who can compete physically, defend multiple spots, and bring energy—very much the kind of player a coach likes when building an identity.
