Taevion Kinsey brings pro-level burst, versatility, and a high-motor scoring package
In the 2022-23 season at Marshall, Taevion Kinsey was a do-everything lead guard/wing who averaged 22.1 points, 4.9 rebounds, 4.9 assists, and shot 54.2% from the field, while also earning 2023 Sun Belt Player of the Year honors. He’s a long, explosive 6-5 athlete who can score above the rim, create off the dribble, and pile up production without needing a perfect play called for him. The catch: his game has been described as a bit wild and shot-selection dependent, so he fits best with a team that values downhill pressure, versatility, and high usage.
