Jeremiah Houston brings proven ball production and veteran DB instincts to UNLV
Houston looks like a reliable, disruptive defensive back for UNLV: at Long Beach City College in 2018, he posted 33 tackles, 3 interceptions and 11 pass breakups in 10 games, and the year before he added 24 tackles, an interception, a forced fumble and 8 pass breakups. Those numbers point to a corner who sees routes early, attacks the ball, and can help in coverage and turnover creation. He also earned second-team all-league recognition and was named to UNLV’s 2021 Academic All-Mountain West Team, suggesting a mature, coachable fit for a secondary needing steadiness and playmaking.[5]
