Converted linebacker who became a tone-setting playmaker
Nephi Sewell’s Utah profile is built on versatility, motor, and production: the 2020 season review credited him with 40 tackles, 6.0 tackles for loss, 2 sacks, 2 interceptions, 2 fumble recoveries, and a forced fumble, and Utah later noted he finished his career as a two-time All-Pac-12 pick after converting from safety. He’s the kind of defender teams love because he flashes range, ball skills, and downhill toughness rather than just pile-up stats. If you want a linebacker who can trigger fast and create turnovers, Sewell fits the bill.
