Campbell LB Matt Farris: tackling machine with proven all-around juice
Matt Farris is the kind of linebacker coaches love: in the 2013 season, he led Campbell with 77 tackles, added 4.5 tackles for loss, 1 sack, 1 interception, 2 pass breakups, and a forced fumble, and he tied a school record with 14 tackles in one game[1][10][11]. Across his Campbell career, he piled up 203 tackles and ranked among the program’s all-time leaders in both total and solo tackles[1]. The profile says “instincts, production, and toughness,” which makes him a strong fit for a defense that wants a reliable, downhill playmaker who shows up every snap[1][11].
