Christal Avery brings veteran guard savvy to East Carolina
Christal Avery is a senior-style, stabilizing guard presence for East Carolina, known more for poise and playmaking than flashy scoring. In her career at East Carolina, she has posted 3.9 points and 2.0 assists per game, with the profile of a steady connector who can organize offense and keep possessions under control[1]. The biggest question for any team fit is shooting efficiency, since her career marks have been modest, but her value comes from experience, composure, and guard instincts that help a team stay organized when the game gets scrappy[1][2].
