veteran LSU guard with a high-effort, all-around game
Whitfield is listed as a 5-foot-9 guard for LSU and, in the 2025-26 roster notes, has appeared in 26 games with modest scoring and rebounding production, suggesting a role player who earns minutes through reliability rather than volume offense.[2] Her long-term differentiator is versatility: LSU’s archived record book and recruiting notes show she has been known for scoring, rebounding, and passing, with early-career attention as a guard averaging 16 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists per game.[1][3] If you want a steady perimeter piece who can contribute across the box score and compete hard, she fits the profile.
