veteran Kent State back looking for more punch
In the 2025 season, Donovan Delaney Jr. produced 15 rushing yards on 15 carries with one touchdown for Kent State, so the box score has been quiet—but the bigger story is his veteran presence as a redshirt senior RB who brings a compact 5-10, 201-pound frame and depth value to the backfield.[1][2][6] He looks like more of a role player than a volume runner right now, but his experience, physical build, and return from injury-related absences make him a fit for teams that want a reliable, tougher rotational piece rather than a featured star.[3][7][10]
