Former Purdue edge defender with production and motor, not a Notre Dame linebacker
Austin Larkin is **not a current Notre Dame LB**; the available records show he was a former Purdue defensive end who later transitioned into football performance/coaching roles. As a player, his profile was built on a compact but effective production line—41 tackles, 4.5 TFLs, 2.5 sacks, and a forced fumble in 22 games with 18 starts—suggesting a high-effort, disruption-first defender rather than a volume-stat star.[2][3] If you’re evaluating fit, the differentiator is his football background and developmental lens, but there is no evidence in the provided sources that he is currently on Notre Dame’s roster.[1][2][3]
