Prairie View A&M DB Rickey Simpson is a senior cornerback with limited 2025 game action and a chance to earn a bigger role
Rickey Simpson enters 2026 as a senior for Prairie View A&M, listed as a defensive back and returning for his second season on the gridiron after seeing limited action at cornerback last season. That profile suggests a player still fighting for a larger defensive footprint, which can be valuable if your staff wants a veteran who knows the system and can compete in the back end. The key question is upside: the available public info shows experience and continuity, but not yet a proven high-volume production resume.
