Joe Babros brings proven edge-rush production and veteran experience to Montana’s defensive front
Babros is a **6-foot-4, 230-pound** redshirt senior DE with a track record of rushing the passer; at Saddleback in 2017 he posted **28 tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss, and 4.5 sacks in eight games**, and in his first season at Montana he played in **12 games** with **17 tackles, a half-sack, and a clutch interception** that helped seal a win over Idaho.[1][2] Montana described him as a **speedy edge rusher** with the potential to be one of the conference’s top rushers, which suggests a fit for teams that value burst, effort, and disruptive play off the edge more than pure size-production alone.[1]
