Colorado State’s older-school DB profile with NFL pedigree
Rhett Nelson is a Colorado State defensive back with legit size at 6-foot, 201 pounds and a proven CSU-to-pro pipeline, which gives him instant credibility and a sturdy frame for the position.[1][6] The catch: the searchable public record here is thin on 2026 game-by-game production, so the best read is that he’s a physical, experienced defensive back whose value comes from toughness, versatility, and reliability more than flashy counting stats.[1][6][11] If you need a DB who looks the part and brings a no-nonsense presence, Nelson is the kind of fit coaches tend to trust.
