Promising NIU Guard Derailed by Injury in Limited Action
Alize Travis, a guard for the Northern Illinois Huskies, flashed potential with 1.9 assists per game across seven appearances in his most recent season before a season-ending injury sidelined him, averaging 0.9 points and 1.1 rebounds in two starts. His playmaking vision stands out as a differentiator for a smaller guard out of Roosevelt High School, bringing high-intensity effort despite the setback—ideal for teams needing a gritty, assist-focused bench spark with upside if he stays healthy.
