steady Howard guard with multi-year two-way value
Gia Thorpe has been a reliable backcourt piece for Howard, with a career line of 5.0 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game, plus a 37.4% field-goal mark and 23.5% from three across her Howard career. In the 2021-22 season, she played in 21 games with 14 starts and averaged 4.4 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.1 steals, showing she can contribute on both ends. Her differentiators are toughness, guard versatility, and a knack for impacting games without needing a huge usage rate—useful if you want a composed, defense-minded connector rather than a volume scorer.
