Will Johnson brings NFL-ready length and ball skills to the secondary
Will Johnson is a high-upside defensive back whose appeal is his size, coverage range, and playmaking instincts, traits that helped him earn an NFL profile after Michigan and make an immediate impact with the Arizona Cardinals. In the 2025 NFL season, ESPN listed him with 27 solo tackles, 10 passes defended, and 1 forced fumble, showing active involvement around the ball. He fits teams that want a physical, scheme-versatile corner with starter-level upside; the main question is how consistently he can translate that tools package into week-to-week reliability.
