Gizella Vargas Sandoval brings veteran infield stability and sneaky-on-base upside to Fresno State
A senior infielder for Fresno State, Gizella Vargas Sandoval arrives with a proven college track record: at CSUN in the 2025 season she hit .297 with a .403 on-base percentage, 11 RBIs, 14 walks, and nine multi-hit games, then carried a reputation for clean defense and game-to-game consistency. She’s the kind of player coaches trust for maturity, versatility, and steady at-bats — plus she adds experience from the Junior Mexican National Team and was named to the Spring Academic All-Big West team.
