Robert Cromartie brings veteran Gators stability and playmaking at cornerback
A redshirt senior CB for Florida, Robert Cromartie stands out for his production, physicality, and playmaking presence: he has 204 career tackles and 42 big plays, including 29 pass deflections, two forced fumbles, and an interception, and in the 2025 season he posted 74 tackles while tying for the team lead with two forced fumbles.[3][1] That kind of all-around profile suggests a reliable, high-effort defender who can tackle, disrupt throws, and make momentum-swinging plays — a strong fit for a team that values experienced, aggressive secondary play.[3][1]
