A.J. Davis brings veteran size and steady depth to Jacksonville State’s secondary
A.J. Davis is a 6-foot, 183-pound senior defensive back for Jacksonville State, giving the Gamecocks an experienced body on the back end in the 2026 season. His biggest value is reliability: veteran size, positional versatility in the secondary, and the kind of upper-class composure that usually helps a defense survive tight Sun Belt-style games. The available roster info confirms his senior status and frame, but there isn’t enough public stat detail here to credibly call him a stat-sheet stuffer—more of a dependable, mature fit than a flashy headline grabber.
