Brandon Burns brings veteran tackler energy to Marshall’s linebacker room
In the 2026 season, Brandon Burns is profile-worthy as a physical, steady linebacker for Marshall, with a history of piling up tackles and showing reliable run support. His value goes beyond box-score stuff: he’s the kind of defender who reads fast, fits hard, and gives off that no-nonsense, tone-setting vibe coaches love. The main question is upside versus age/usage context, but if your team wants a disciplined, dependable linebacker who can clean up plays and keep the front seven organized, Burns is a solid fit.
