Sean Newlan is a versatile, assignment-sound Kansas State defensive back with special-teams value
Newlan’s calling card is reliability: Kansas State’s roster notes show he has seen action in multiple games and even earned a start at safety against Oklahoma in 2017, where he posted a season-high eight tackles[1]. That kind of usage suggests a player trusted in the room for preparation, toughness, and situational defense rather than flash. He looks like a fit for a team that values depth, special teams, and a DB who can plug into the system without needing the ball to find him.
