seasoned Gael guard with toughness, touch, and glue-player value
Turner is a 6-foot guard whose game was defined by versatility, defensive activity, and late-game poise for Saint Mary’s. In her standout 2016-17 season, she earned All-West Coast Conference honorable mention while averaging 10.1 points and 5.0 rebounds, and she was praised as a key starter who could hit big shots, protect the rim, and battle through injury recovery. That mix of shot-making, rebounding, and edge made her the kind of player coaches trust—more floor general than box-score merchant, with a competitive streak that clearly showed up in clutch moments.
