Markus Sailes gives Virginia Tech a steady, versatile backcourt presence
Markus Sailes is a 6-foot-5 guard for Virginia Tech who brings useful size, ball security, and a balanced all-around game; in 2025-26 he’s averaging 3.2 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 1.6 assists while shooting 42.9% from the field. What makes him interesting is the combination of guard skills and wing-like frame, which can help him defend multiple spots and fit alongside different lineup types. If you need a connector, not just a shot-taker, Sailes looks like a practical fit.
